I am a glass artist and the Director of Flameworking at Third Degree Glass Factory in St. Louis MO. I have been making glass beads for 15 years and teach at Third Degree to the general public and Washington University students during the school year.
I have wonderful husband and two great kids, Daniel 23 and Allie 21.
I also have my Dog and two kitties!
Took all day long to fill the Etsy shop. I have been making the beads but needed to sit down and take the time to photograph, edit photos, measure, name, then list. I have made another Pod that is just mind blowing. It looks like it's on fire and I love the results. Funny thing about using this silver glass is that the results will never be the same. It's always beautiful but sometimes its really good. I have been super busy with lots of good things happening. I have several bead sets going to some fun people so stay tuned to see whats up. Grab this one quick!
Wow your pods are really beautiful! Sometimes it used to take me a long time to make a post with alot of pics, so filling up Etsy oh yes it would def. Taking pics, writing descriptions. I can believe it did take you all day! But you will make alot of peoples happy lol.
Wow! Incandescent!! You should be impressed, it's fantastic!! Yes, finishing the silly piece is just the beginning of a long and tedious process. For me, listing also includes pricing out each item, because finished jewelry has so many components. Figure out the price, take the pictures, edit the pictures, write the description, upload....blah blah blah. Yep, takes a long time!
YES, it takes me ALL f*ing day too! You aren't the only one ;) I even found cheater ways to make my listings faster where I can just edit color names and sometimes just sizes ;)
Gorgeous pod! Gotta love the magic of silver glass. It's like Raku in the fact that you never know exactly what colors you will get, but better believe it will be GORGEOUS!
Stunning work!!! Yes it takes me a while to take the photos to list things on etsy, it's worth it though when you take a gorgeous photo like this one! :)
Your pods are always lovely. This one has gorgeous color!
